Cruiseair remote panel wiring

Bought a cruiseair used unit with remote but no connecting wire. Bought a 6 pin cable that plugs in, but unit does not communicate or turn on. Was told wire end needs to be swapped on one end so 6 goes to 1, 5 goes to 2, etc. Still doesnt work. Cruiseair obviously wants to sell a cable for umpteen bucks. Anyone got a diagram or a fix?

I ran into the same problem a few years back. They swap two conductors on one end of the Cat 6 wire. I am sorry I don't have the cable anymore to help. My memory says it was the 2 and 5 spot that were swapped.

Tks, that jives with what I tried. No luck doing all 6 reverse. Maybe somebody else has the answer.
