Will trade my Bristol Bertram 35 for 36-46 ft Trawler

I was looking for a nice trawler in 2018 and could not find what I was looking for so I purchased the nicest boat I could find to use until I found a trawler. My 1976 Bertram 35 was surveyed "Bristol" in May of 2018. My boat has remanufactured engines and drives along with a host of high dollar updates and improvements. The new engines have 297 hours on them. After several joint replacements and spinal surgeries, I have come to the realization that I would like to own a roomy trawler. The trawler I am looking for would have wide side decks and ample room in and around the engine. I would guess the larger boats might have more room for me, but there are many exceptions. I will trade up or down for the right boat. My Bertram can be shipped by removing the steering wheel and windshield along with the props. I doubt many trawlers could be shipped without some disassembly which I prefer not to be involved in. My boat is fresh water all its life with two owners before me. I would prefer a fresh water boat if possible. I have every receipt for my Bertram including the $5,000 Fusion stereo, the $16,000 pulpit/windlass/anchor/chain, plasteak, cruiser two zone, etc etc. Sooner or later I will become a legitimate trawler owner and thought I should see if there is anyone going the opposite direction and wanting what I have. Bill

The boat is now listed with Skipper Bud's at MacRay Harbor in Harrison Township, Mi. Still able to do a trawler trade under this arrangement.

Yes, I deleted my ad when I listed it. Is there a way to edit my post to remove the list link? The broker will likely run his own ad and I will post a link to that one. Sorry.

I should not have put a length of trawler I am interested in trading for. I would guess 36 is a minimum and the max should be open to discussion. Sorry for the mistake. Bill

Sold

Well she’s gone. Too bad I could not have traded with someone on the forum because that was one amazing Bertram. Now the hunt intensifies.
