After 17 years building a steel sailboat.
I went out with a friend on his trawler this fall, and now I know why the sailboat has taken so long to build.

I am without a doubt a trawler person

So here I am. Currently hoping for a positive reply about a Willard 36.

Hopefully I will learn a lot here with everyone's help when needed. Akenai

Welcome!

Lots of converts from sail to power here. We have a number of Willard owners, and lots of Willard admirers, too. You'll fit right in.

Welcome! Drop that rig, cut down the rudder and keel, and weld up a pilothouse! You're most of the way to a Willard already :)

Lots of ex-sailers here. I still love to sail, but the family got big & they like to actually get places and stay there, so the choice was pretty easy for us.
