Finally membered up

As a long time lurker/reader figured it was about time to man up and officially join in as a member. This forum provided a wealth of information as we prepared for and completed our Great Loop voyage. Now in the process of selling our current boat, liquidating other hard assets and starting the search for a larger liveaboard boat to continue the cruising lifestyle.

Welcome. As a seasoned boater, you no doubt have wisdom and opinions to share. The more, the merrier. Cheers.

You've been aboard for a while, it seems. Welcome into the light. We have rum.
Pictures and memories from your loop would be awesome.
What are / will be your cruising area / home port?
Good luck on your search for another boat.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. We are currently home ported St. Johns Island, SC (on the Stono River - Charleston,SC).

Our Great Loop adventure is documented on our blog:
https://looperasyouwish.blogspot.com/

Not sure if allowed to do this yet as a new member but having completed the loop we are selling our current boat - a 2010 Marine Trader 38' Sundeck, Very economical with a single Cummins QSB 5.9 230 HP. Listing below but let me know if I need to delete the link.
https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/201...ck-fb-3704372/

Looking for something in the 42-50' range. Defever 45RPH, Ocean Alexander 486 , Meridian 490 sort of style with cockpit, salon and galley on one level. Trying to keep draft to 4' or less and minimum air draft as we'ld like to be able to get through western Erie Canal with it's 15' air height limitations.

Welcome aboard!
Tell us a bit about your plans. What you are looking for, where you plan on mooring, cruising, etc.
Good luck.
