Tired Pooch

Got back this afternoon from the sixth multi-day cruise in the last six weeks. Our two year old rescue is absolutely whooped!

Mr. m. So happy the rescue worked out for you both.

We are on the way back home from what is going to be a fast-track, ~4,000 mile roundtrip from home to our place in AZ then back home towing our Whaler. Our ~10.5 year old Lab is not a good traveler. He pants, he shakes and is nervous as all get out.

So we bought him some tranq's to zone him out. They work, but we have to really encourage him to get into the car when we're ready to go.

We both joke that when he gets home tomorrow he's never getting in again. We're staying at the Riverside Hotel in Boise tonight and as I'm typing this he's sound asleep on the bed. The WHOLE bed. Did I mention he weighs about 85 pounds. The WHOLE bed.

Our poodle loves being on the boat, but it makes him tired pretty fast. He's already a bit of a couch potato, so after being on the boat, he wants nothing more than sleep.
