RayMarine i40 problem

I have a RayMarine i40. It is the depth only version, the E70064.

The readout has gone wacky. (see photo below)

I have tried the "press the action and down buttons for 12 seconds" to start the factory reset process.

Nothing.

Ideas?

Have you tried a hard reboot (i.e. Completely disconnecting the power for 60 seconds or so?)

Many times. Unit usually has no power.

Problem solved. The new one from Hodges works fine.
