Cant seem to access old threads on cellphone! Is a BU-353S5 compatible with windows 10 cannot get OpenCPN to recongnise it!!!!!

Not an active OpenCPN user. I have it, don't use it.

But I have used a BU-353S5 with Win 10. I recall having to force it to work by assigning the port on either the Win 10 control panel or in the other software.

It seems like it doesn't want to auto-detect. Once done, no issues.
