Will any n2k External mount antenna work with any auto pilot as long as both are n2k

A bit more information about your system (MFD? How old? Etc) and what you're trying to accomplish would help. Since your question is specific to your autopilot, if you're seeking to displace the heading sensor the AP needs (usually a Fluxgate compass), answer is GPS alone is not a good fit.

They should, although some units take more position fixes per minute than others. I'm not sure at what point the the autopilot can't process the number of fixes as fast as the GPS is taking them.
