I went with the Starlink house mount (its aluminum) and mounted it on the radar arch. I know it’s close to the radar, it I can live with that- if the radar is transmitting, I’m paying attention to the helm and not my phone…

Just need to route the cable now.

Here’s my solution. I used a couple of Mantus rail clamps and the Starlink wall mount. If you ditch the plastic mounting plates on the Mantus clamps the bolts fit perfectly into the Starlink mount. I’ve got the cable zip tied to the rail and turned around the edge of the salon roof overhang for the moment until I’m sure it works well in this location. If it does I will routed the cable through the roof with a cable gland.

(Sorry can’t get the picture oriented right)

Where do I get one of those mounts?

I bought the RV version and it comes with feet

There is a youTube blog called something like M/V Freedom. In a recent episode, the guy installed a Starlink Antenna but modified it so that it would not move. I didn't watch the full episode, but sounds like it works fine.

You can buy the mounts and other accessories through the "Shop" link on your account page.

I saw the video, and while I think it's interesting I am not inclined to re-engineer the antenna package. I just want to mount it to the boat and be happy.

If you really want to go full Hollywood try ditching the AC powered Starlink router and run the dish off DC/PoE per these instructions from SV Renaissance. I can vouch that it works!
