Well, usually we (I) blame clogged heads on other people but I can't do that this time.

I got up in the middle of the night to use the head, and didn't turn on the light, right as I flushed I noticed something dark in there. This morning I used it again (#2) and it wouldn't flush. I realize now that a washcloth had fallen into the head.

Before I do a lot of dismantling, where do you guys think I should start? Any other tips?

What type of system? A vaccuflush wouldn't allow a washcloth to go too far I would imagine. The only tip I can offer is what I learned from a broker a long long time ago when I started boating. Close the lid on the head every time. Especially underway. I know that practice has saved us from the same dilemma you're experiencing multiple times.

Yeah, you were right it didn't get far. It was stuck at the bottom of the bowl, just under the flap. I don't think I'll use that wash cloth anymore.
