Well amid the Covid snarls today we begin the journey back to the water. We've been "stay at home" for 2 months in our 25' travel trailer, waiting for the word that the yard is open and work on the boat is finished. We will get access to the boat in the yard for the next 5 days to clean, reorganize and get personal things stowed. Splash is Tuesday, any necessary adjustments on Wednesday and then we'll head for the San Juan Islands which is our homeport. Really looking forward to that moment when we pull away from the dock...

Good luck. After a 25’ trailer the boat will feel huge...

2 month in a 25’ travel trailer and you both survived? It must be love. Did you sleep under the trailer? Food delivered in a box outside the door? I assume you were in a trailer park?

Actually its been 20 months in the trailer. Sold the house in Oct 2018 and moved to the trailer. Closed on our boat last August, sent it to the yard for necessary and desirable items and left for Arizona for the winter. Covid added 2.5 months to the delay so we're ready to get on board.
