We haven't had nice weather since the full moon so I took advantage for a nice harbor cruise with a few of my buddies,for you who don't know about the greasy pole it is the main event during the 4th of July weeklong St.Peters festival,they take 3-5 inches of food grade grease and smear it on the pole with a flag at the end and almost all the contestants called walkers dress up in all kinds of crazy costumes and it lasts 3 days,there are also dory races,the bluefin blowout tournament,and the blessing of the fleet,precovid it usually was one of the most action filled days of the summer ending with the fireworks on the last night ñ
