So on my tender I have this filter. No where in the owner manual does it describe this part. We have been running the dingy for about 4 years now. Never changed it.

It would seem this is an EPA requirement like the fill necks that have check valves so you don't spill fuel.

Someone please enlighten me.
 
Just like ur cars for the past 40 years. Absorbs gas fumes from vent line.
Again, like cars, not normally changed out.
 
ASD, they suck. If they get soaked with gas, carb vacc signal goes bad.
Ignore or bypass/remove, in my experience.
