How so tiresome? Parkers also need bleeding at replacement time?

The originals had a pair of filter elements with a seal at the top and bottom of the filter element and a metal cup on the bottom. There was no unmessy way to deal with them, and they were touchy to get right. Spin-ons were sooooo much easier to deal with, plus I had the advantage of a clear bowl if I wanted to by simply selecting a spin-on which accepted same.

Are the plastic bowls rated for on engine usage? I don’t know.

Dunno why not. They fit the filters for the Parker conversion unit which is for the Lehman engine-mounted parts. It's not like they were snug up against at exhaust of the engine block. They did well for me for many years.

I was just wondering about the vibration on the engine. Like I said I don’t know but was curious.

Yes. Nothing like “opening up” spin ons for ease of use.

Nice that they hung open side up, unlike some filters I have to deal with.
