dual shore power wiring

Mutual exclusion can be accomplished via interlocked breakers as has been shown here, or using a selector switch with break-before-make connections (which is typical).

What about a Victron Quattro instead of the Multiplus? Two inputs (genset, shorepower), two outputs (one is inverter-supported, one is not). Two panels (or subpanels): one for "always-on" loads (in other words, kept alive with inverter output), one for "burdensome yet interruptible" loads.
 
Side note: before you start buying parts, run it passed a ‘known’ marine electrician.
Because of the dangers involved, it is well worth the money for a professional review.
