Trunk cabin/head wire routing on 1972 36 classic

You can't go wrong with having wire testing tools onboard. And to clarify, I mean one of these sorts of tone probe tools: https://www.amazon.com/Generator-Accuracy-Inductive-Amplifier-Collation/dp/B08T224QCC/

Trunk cabin/head wire routing on 1972 36 classic

Do you have a wire tracing tool/ringer? Put that on the ends of the wires you can get to, and trace the beeping. It's usually best to disconnect the wires at one end when doing the testing, so you don't 'ring out' the whole circuit. If it's anything like the salon ceiling lights in my Eastbay...

Hose run for Engine to hot water heater 34' pilot

While it seems like using engine coolant to heat the water seems like a good idea, it's not without risk. Mainly, if any part of the loop fails you risk serious engine damage from overheating. We had the hose fitting at the engine fail during delivery of our EB47. Puked $400 worth of...

    Utility budget for coffee?

As per another user here, we went with a super-automatic machine. Grinds the beans fresh. Fits neatly on the counter of our EB47. https://www.trawlerforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=830616&postcount=53

    Changing name on AIS

I can't believe no one else has asked the important question: what make/model are they? Most most radios and AIS units can be reprogrammed. Some radios make it harder than others, likewise AIS units. A search online (google, etc) on that make/model and 'change AIS' or 'change MMSI' would...

    Safe-T-Alert carbon monoxide

That's what I suspected. Nice job on the adapter plates.

    Safe-T-Alert carbon monoxide

That's great, but I'd still like to know what the part# on them was. Because those look like 62 series surface mount on a trim ring. The pix on MTI's website show the trim ring 62 series using the partially-flush model (and I don't have space behind for that).

What's the part number on those?

    Interesting Anchors

Likewise our 47. With the bow anchor pulpit and the dinghy hanging off the swim platform we're 56' LOA. Which was a rude awakening for the slip we'd expected to use at our old marina. The fairway between the slips was only 52'. Had to scramble in late March to find a new slip.

    sharrow propeller. a revolution?

If you put half the effort into actually checking the patents as you have otherwise, the conversation would have had that much the better content. Instead...

    Wifi booster or extender?

Bear in mind if there's not good coverage there might also not been good throughput in/out of the marina network. Worst case being weekends if it's raining. All the kids are inside streaming movies, all sharing the same wifi network and performance through it absolutely tanks. We use a...

    sharrow propeller. a revolution?

If you know the process then why the throw-away sort of diss toward it? There's enough of that nonsense going around these days, why add to it?
