Surveyor needed - Chesapeake Bay - Deltaville/Solomons

Does anyone have experience with or recommendations for a surveyor on the Chesapeake Bay, Deltaville VA or Solomons MD area, who has experience inspecting a new boat build?

I'm expecting a new boat which should hopefully arrive in November, and would like a surveyor with structural/construction expertise to inspect it before I accept it.

I had an old boat surveyed in Newport News by a guy named Pete Eaves. He was detailed, thorough, and honest, although I don't know what experience he has with new boats.

You should give Peter Schacht a call. I've known him for 40 years & I've never heard anything but good reviews regarding his surveys & ethics. He's in Deltaville all of the time.
