    Good observation. Did yours come with the electric exhaust fan? I think that is keeping the humidity in check so I am not observing more corrosion than what you would expect for the age, the use and the environment around the generator.

    Try the custom sound shields from Great Southern Insulation. (https://stopthesound.com/contact-us/). It did the trick for me on my Mainship 350/390. I’ve had it now for about 4 years and it significantly reduces the noise.

    Yes, I believe that is what the installer used plus the separate 3/4” x 3/4” wood pieces for the edges around the hatches.

    Flooring The estimate seems to be very reasonable. We replaced the salon carpet on our Mainship 350 in CT with teak and holly for just about $10k.
