Re tool storage
I like to keep my tools in bags. A bag of combination wrenches, a bag of screwdrivers, etc. You can break it down to as many categories as suits you. As moving around on a boat or in an engine compartment can be somewhat awkward and I don’t always know which socket or wrench...
Sell, buy back?
How about if you sell the boat for, say, 350k with an agreement to buy it back in a year for 275 or 300k if it is in good condition as spelled out in detail in the agreement. ??
Inside out?
Disclaimer: I have no experience with this. Repair on the inside seems like it might work well if the deterioration is on the inside but I am under the impression that often these tanks are rusting from the outside inward. If that were the case, I’d be concerned about a catastrophic...
I have a 2.5 meter Zodiac RIB with a 6hp Tohatsu. It will (eventually) plane me alone (94kg). the motor weighs 25kg (55lb). I can get it off the boat and onto the pulpit without too much trouble. I tie a safety line and have someone belay it just in case.
Off point but....
I believe I know the boat you are buying. I’ve been aboard once or twice. My wife spent many summer weeks aboard with her extended family. They really loved that boat and had many wonderful times. Hope you do too!
