On our new-to-me power cat, the starboard engine has a slow raw water leak, from the opening in the casing that reveals the shaft that drives the impeller (so between the impeller and the block).
A rebuild kit for one of these does not contain a seal for the shaft, only a thin O-ring for the cover plate, and a new impeller.
I have found "full rebuild" kits for marine engine raw water pumps that do contain the shaft, and a number of seals and bearings, so I assume I need one of these. I will go back to the boat this evening and get the part number off the end plate, and start searching!
