new owner of project 36ft MT doublecabin

Project best describes her, needs lots of love. cabin has been wet and gutted, lots of previous water damage. Good news Lehman runs smooth and she cruises. Right now looking for info on how to handle her. she is quite a challenge in the breeze. Never operated single engine this size.

as far as handling...learn to use the propwalk, short bursts of throttle while using large changes in helm...and how to use spring lines.

Good luck with the project and welcome to the forum. Consider a bow thruster as well if the budget allows. It is not a necessity if you learn how to use the single properly but it does make things a lot easier at times.

+1 to that.

And don't be afraid to use the throttle. Thrust is your friend with a single.
