We just witnessed (2100 PDT) a fascinating light show in the sky. It started as a bright white light about 20 degrees above the horizon, in the southern sky. At first I thought it was a CG helicopter over the Strait. It soon broke up into a collection of 20 or so separate lights, with trails, heading to the ESE. As it crossed ESE the individual points of light dimmed and extinguished. Start to finish about 30 to 60 seconds.

I suspect it was space debris, burning up as it entered the atmosphere. It looked like the the reversal of a couple of starlink launches.

And no, I havent been into the dogs CBD. At least not tonight.
