Transducer change

Hi,
I am a new member and of course have some questions since I consider myself a novice in the electronics area among others as well. Is it possible to change a B744V transducer through an already existing fairing ?.

It's possible but most likely not practical, especially if a strong adhesive was used to caulk the transducer and fairing block. I've always opted to just plan on replacing the entire assembly. It's much easier in the long run.
