I want to hardwire my Fusion stereo to my router - which is 60' away. This involves lots of turns and close-quarters with lots of other power cables.

Crazy idea? is there any 'maritime' flavor that would be better than plain old Home Depot Cat6A?
(Such as: Micro Connectors, Inc
100 ft. CAT6A Industrial Outdoor-Rated Shielded Ethernet 26AWG)

Shielded would be an option, but you need to insure the terminations are installed correctly and also shielded. Unless you have a lot of RF noise, cat6 should suffice. Avoid sharp kinks, but the bandwidth you're using for audio shouldn't matter much.

Cat7 has a little better shielding . Direct burial cable usually has a tougher shell and will hold up a little better in harsh conditions.

60' is a relatively short run and its probably only running at 100 mb anyway. You should be fine.
