I'm in the process of re caulking the teak deck on a 32 ft Grand Banks. Does anyone have a rough estimate of how many tubes of caulk this will require. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Welcome aboard. If I remember correctly I got my estimate off Jamestown Distributors web site. I don’t envy you, we did our sundeck last year, never again.

Don't over buy because it has a shelf life. I used the estimate from the caulking company and it was much more than I needed. It kept for longer than it's printed shelf life but several tubes eventually went bad.

Thanks for the responses, according to their charts I will need 24 tube just for the main deck and not including the cockpit. Maybe that's what I start out with and see how far it goes before I do the cockpit. Thanks again.

When we did our sundeck teak, I bought a pneumatic caulking gun. It worked great and saved my hands from more pain.
