WANTED - Fractional Ownership: 40 to 50 foot Trawler
 

Hi. I have been spending the past 3+ months researching, and reading about, and inspecting trawlers, trying to inform myself regarding my first boat purchase.

My conclusion is that as a first step into this new (for me) and enjoyable world, finding a 25% or 50% fractional ownership opportunity would be logical. I have read several sources regarding the Pros and Cons of this approach (and I know there are plenty of both).

I have owned a ski resort condo in Colorado for 15 years. 6 years ago I worked with an attorney to carve the ownership into four 25% separately deeded shares. I sold three shares, and have kept one. The partnership has worked out beautifully. One of the original three buyers recently re-sold his 25% share - that also worked out great for all parties.

So, I hope to find the following within the trawler community:
- 40 to 50 foot length
- Twin diesels (Cat or Ford Lehman preferred)
- Flybridge with bimini cover and enclosure
- Queen or King bed in main berth
- Separate shower area in at least one head
- Located in Florida or Central America (Belize, Costa Rica, Yucatan)
