I've upgraded to a larger dink and motor and have my trusty Honda 2HP 4-stroke short shaft outboard motor for sale.
This motor only weighs 27 lbs with an internal gas tank that burns about a quart of gasoline in an hour of running around. It starts very easily and has a centrifugal clutch that allows the prop to engage after bumping the throttle above idle. It's air cooled so no impeller to replace and has received annual lube and cleanup maintenance and oil changes.
It's been a terrific little motor for me - reliable and trouble-free. It comes with a blue Honda engine head canvas cover and a spare prop which I never needed and will include in the deal. If I had to estimate the hours on the motor, I'd figure about 20-40 hrs per year for 9 years so somewhere well under 500 hrs. It's been used almost exclusively in the fresh waters of the CA Delta. Occasional use to and from the boat at Angel Island moorings is the only saltwater exposure.
Here's a review of the motor for details.

I'll throw in the plastic rail mount for the asking price of $550. (The mount is visible at the top FB rail in the last pic...mermaid not included.)
The motor can be seen and run in Sacramento or Vallejo, CA.
(Sorry for the sideways photos...tried to flip them 3 times unsuccessfully.)
