Spent the day in heavy rain with steady 25-35 mph winds and gusts up to 70. Marine forecast called for 7'-10' waves on the upper bay. Sounded like a freight train outside my house.

Ventured out to the marina to check on things this morning did not appear to be any damage except for some boats w ripped shrink wrap. Hopefully it will be dried out enough to start waxing and bottom paint prep this weekend. We have been told they will launch boats starting in 2 weeks. Yay.

A little different from Northern Wisconsin where we received about 11 inches of snow Sunday night and another two inches last night.

I'm supposed to be down working on my boat, not snowplowing my drive!

Brandywine Lighthouse in the middle of Delaware Bay recorded wind gust to 71 knots! A bit nautical.
