I have a defever 41t 1980, looking for door gasket

If it's the original refrigerator, that may be a little tough. There should be a manufacturer's sticker inside the unit. Google searching withe the model number will yield you more results. A few years ago, I went looking for a freezer door seal. The only way to get one was to buy the whole door (for a princely sum). I ended up replacing the unit with an apartment refrigerator.

Not sure if i want to get rid of DC option.

That's what they make inverters for. 500 watt pure sine wave will do the job nicely.
