Forward Hatch 81 Californian 34 LCR

I am looking for dimensions or specs for the Forward Hatch on the 1981 Californian 34 LCR. It looks roughly 20x20, but was missing when I purchased. I just want to make it pretty again. I have scoured the internet and nothing. I am hoping someone here can assist~

Well I didnt hear anything back on here.. BUT I measured the hatch opening and it is 18.5 x 18.5 .
I ordered this and I am hoping for a perfect fit. I will let you gets know and maybe takes some pics.

I'm not at my boat so I can't measure right now but it looks like that hatch will work.

Mine is solid fiberglass with no skylight but only a small vent added. As a result, my fwd stateroom is dark but cool in the sun when the hatch is closed.

I'll watch for your posted pics.

Comment - note the term "escape hatch". Do NOT have a cover of any kind snapped to the deck. YOU may be able to force it open, but a woman or child ?

If you want a cover on an escape hatch attach it to the hatch itself not the deck. That way you will be able to open the hatch in case of an emergency.
