- 1969,42ft Grand Banks. Hull #125
Hello to all,and that's for welcoming me to the forum.
I'm "almost "68(in January) and have been boating since the very early 90's. I have owned everything from a 40ft,1947matthews SedanA,to my current Trawler, a 1969,42ft wooden Grand Banks, hull #125,that was actually built for Mr Robert Newton, founder, owner, and CEO of American Marine Ltd (Grand Banks),and was built as his retirement gift, as certified by Anthony (Tony)Fleming (Fleming Yachts).
I'm currently located in Florence Alabama, and plan on restarting the loop late next spring.
She is powered by twin 4/53 Detroit Diesels, holds 800 gallons of fuel, and has a cruising range of 3200-3400 miles.
