My new-to-me boat will be home ported at Shelter Cove Marina on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

I want to be able to have an app-controlled camera on the hardtop. One that can be rotated, tilted, etc and with which I can 1) watch the goings on at the marina, and 2) see much of my boat including the dinghy.

Does anyone have any experience with cameras such as this? There is one outfit, GOST optics, which has a full security system which includes cameras, but is very expensive. I don't need everything it does.

Thanks.

This was recommended to me but I haven't checked it out. They're cheap enough that you can make up with numbers what they might lack in flexibility.

We have a series of Wyze cameras indoors, including a rotating/tilting model, all working fine, so far. All the ones we have need an AC power source. I think they have some that are more intended for outdoor use, unlike ours.
