I read this years ago in a sailing publication and as it sounds odd it worked, we used them on our sailboats. Try using fabric softener dryer sheets like Bounce, etc. , try tucking a few away in out of the way places. We’ve been fortunate to be spider free here in FL.

Originally Pearl was “Red Star” red & white, with Neptune’s permission we repainter her with AwlGrip SnowWhite, offered Neptune some bubbley and paid $$$ to repair the many items the surveyor missed & po hid. All in all she’s a new 2008 Beneteau Flyer 12.

We state we’re a 12 meter, model is a Flyer 12, most do their math and charge us the 36 foot rate, as I don’t want to seem rude by correcting them so I just let it pass.

Thanks and I agree. Initially I was looking for some alternative to drilling holes through her new Awlgrip finish, but Ts & check valves does sound a bit of a “Rube Goldberg” machine.

Interesting that the surveyor didn’t pick up on that, I certainly missed it. The boat is a Beneteau, French, built in France; evidently they felt it more important to include Beneteau branded dinnerware and flatware service for 6 rather than properly sized bilge pumps.
