backup camera installation

I think backup cameras can help me with docking. i'm planning to install the Yakry system with 3 cameras. One will be attached to the davit arm using a gutter mount for the rear view. Sideviews are more important, and have some challenges as there are no an available attach point along the edge of the sundeck roof. Is the roof sandwidged or solid fiberglass? what fixtures can be installed near the edge to install the camera?

I would just a good adhesive to mount a block that you could screw to.

do you mean to glue a wood block to the gelcoat top on the roof?
which is a good adhesive? Polyurethane adhesives or two parts epoxy?

one camera is 0.9 lbs

I would probably do a polyurethane adhesive like 4200.

if using a wood block, scuff one surface, paint the other surfaces, wait for the paint to dry, glue it to the roof, caulk the edges. Is this order correct?

I only have one back up camera (for my 19' 10" beam). Wide angle provides the view I need to both sides of the stern. It can also see my towed dinghy as long as it is within 50-75 ' of the stern.

I have moved my boat three times, every time the docking takes a long and awkward time. with some wind drifting effect, it would take even longer. Every time I wished I could see how far the pilings and finger spikes were from the sides, when I turn out of the slip or back into it in wind gusts.

how is the camera and monitor wired in your setup?
