Hard water spots on boat glass.
How do you guys remove old hard water spots on your glass. Very stubborn. Almost seems etched in the glass.

There are products made for this. Look at your local auto parts store or Amazon.

I had really good luck buffing the glass with 3M perfect it medium grit. I used a white wool pad on my random orbital buffer. It worked well on the chrome frame around my shower door as well.

I had the same issue, and most window cleaners didn't work well. But scrubbing with Scotch Bright worked fine, but a bit of elbow grease.

Once done, coated with Rain X and future cleanings went well.

Start with toothpaste. Then try Wright's silver/jewelry polish or the like (Prism Polish et al). I've never had to go beyond that to get results. Handy stuff for stainless and other metals when bad.

If it’s a hard water spot perhaps try a small dab of muriatic acid on a disposable cloth. Try a small section of the window first and then flush with water. If it’s calcium carbonate, it will dissolve immediately.
