Zain "The Beach Master" after assuring there were no bears nearby and it was safe for us to walk the beach at dusk;

No sweat...I would just let my son's dog lead my beach walk...

My son's wife is well over 5'10".... the dog averages about 175lbs.

Our Ridgeback, Angus, is only 110 lbs, but he's a total force of nature. Bred to hunt African lions and other large game, but hates the water . . . probably because he has little buoyancy. He'll be on our Defever for the first time next week!
