Ah Debi - a nice easy question for your first..............good plan to ease into the group.

The bilges on a Hyatt 37 are at the bottom of the boat, under the floor boards, similar to most boats

Welcome aboard. As said above, look into the deck hatches. They are the bottom of the inside.

Gee thanks guys! My Hatteras was in a crawl space in engine room or I should say the middle one was. I have been ripping out carpet but no luck yet.

If you manually turn on a bilge pump can you hear it run? If you can find that running pump you are above it. Somehow there must be access to it.
