The parts manual shows a metal gasket between the turbo and the 'exhaust bend assembly' (aka Hot Elbow/Riser). It shows another between the exhaust bend and the mixing elbow.

When took mine apart, there were no such gaskets installed. I assume this would have been from the factory.

I uploaded the page from the parts manual. It seems like the V-clamp will barely fit, and not really seat down all the way with that metal gasket in there.

Any thoughts? Anyone familiar with this model? gasket or no gasket??

They are parts numbered #1 and #10 in the blowout.
