Winter Dry Storage North Carolina

I am planning first long trip to NC for a winter haul out and refurbish. Need to catch up on proper varnish and fiberglass work for the whole boat.
Looking for a low cost place to have my GB 42 hauled so I can work on everything through the winter.
Just not possible to catch up over the winter in New England.
Looking near Wilmington as there is family close.
Want to do my own work and possibly overnight on boat once in a while.
Any suggestions.

You might check Southport Marina. Don't know if they allow DIY, but the location might work for you.

TJ Marina,Belhaven, NC meets or exceeds all the criteria you have set forth. We live a block from the marina and have become acquainted with several of them who are from all over the country. Should you need further I would be happy to put you in contact with them.

Cape Fear Boat Works. DIY or they have techs and subs. Clean; nothing fancy. They paint a lot of boats; painted our 63’ hull last Fall. Their lift over 50 tons. Been using them for years. 10 minute drive from downtown Wilmington. Amy is the office Manager.

Cape Fear Boat Works. Been using them for about 15 years. Sam (owner) and Amy ( office manager) are good people and easy to work with and reasonable.

Another Option is Cason Yachts in Hampstead NC. They do allow DIY, sub contractors with a fee, or you can hire their own staff at Rate.
585 Lewis Rd. Hampstead, NC 28443 Ph# 910-270-6394. The location is 25 minutes north of Wilmington on the ICW. Nice people, reasonable prices.
