Hi Everyone. Very excited to join the forum. We recently purchased our Camano and have been able to go on an overnight between weather systems. We absolutely love our boat. It was so comfortable motoring and spending the night. I love the visibility. We live north of Seattle and can’t wait for next summer to head north into the islands for hopefully a couple of months. My husband has always had sailboats and sold his 36 ft. Catalina last fall because he felt he was getting a little too old to handle the sails and rigging and what not. So certainly compared to the sailboat this one is very complicated and we feel a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out all of the systems and engine. I noticed there are tubes running up into the windshield wipers yet we have searched everywhere and cannot find a fluid reservoir. Someone came over who had an older model Camano and suggested it was in the cabinet in the head yet we couldn’t find it anywhere. The previous owner installed an electric toilet and I’m wondering if they removed the reservoir and forgot to reinstall it? We found what looks like the tubing all nicely wound up in there but that was it. It might seem trivial but when we were out some sea water splashed up on the windshield and it would have been nice to have fluid to wash it away. I was hoping someone has one with the reservoir and could perhaps take pictures of where it is and how it is connected. Thanks.

Well now I'm a little jealous. I have a 1998 Troll and definitely no wiper fluid system. I have learned a lot about the boat during the past 2 years. I've completely (personally) upgraded the elections with new MFDs,.radar, FLIR, lithium batteries, helm seat, many other things. Happy to help if y'all have other questions. I also have a great mechanic who lives up north if you need help with maintenance. In any case good luck finding the reservoir and safe cruising...

No clue about the Camano, but on some boats the windshield washer is tied in to the potable water system. So, no reservoir.

Welcome Paula,
We own a 2007 Camano and are moored on the ship canal. I have wondered the same thing but not thought to check that cabinet. I will and will let you know if we discover that part.
Cheers!

I would definitely love to know if you find a reservoir or if you find it's tied in to the water supply somehow. My husband doesn't think it's such a big deal but I think it would be really nice to have that working. He thinks the tubing is electrical but I'm not so sure. I guess it bugs me that we have a system like that and can't figure out how to get it functioning lol.

No evidence of windshield washer system - 2005 boat.
