I'm not sure how many will get any use out of this, but the Admiral wasn't happy with any window covering choices and I wasn't happy with the ridiculous cost of 'marine' shades.* We found a source in France for different patterns of lace, which suit Delfin, or perhaps other traditional looking boats.* And they are cheap!* abut $50 per window, with compared favorable with the $1,100 per window quote we got from a specialist in such things.* The site is http://www.authentic-macrame.com/.

They're nice because you can see through them from inside, but do a good enough of providing privacy.

$1100 per window?
funny how things become 5x or 10x the price when it is for marine use.

i like what you choosed, very classy looking and it still lets in lots of light.

first thing we did was to take all the "curtains out", we have external window covers made of a mesh, it is just perfect in allowing us to see out, but not so much seeing in and it does a decent job of keeping the hot mid day sun out of the saloon.
but it's not as pretty as this lace..

Hey look Hollywood, if it increases the chances that She Who Must Be Obeyed will sign on for Patagonia, I'll wear nail polish, much less hang lace on the windows.

Hollywood, if I make it to the horn, I will don a lace thong in your honor.* I will spare you the pictures, of course.
