On my westerbeake 8KW diesel generator In the Electrical box smell it on the generator there's a terminal strip, For 12 V there is a resistor On that terminal strip I believe it has something to do with the voltage reading on the remote panel. They all one is mostly disintegrated and I cannot identify it. Does anyone know what resistance that resistor should be? I can't find any info

Your description sounds like you have an original voltage regulator for the generator end. You might consider replacing the Voltage Reg with a modern, solid state regulator. Somewhere I have the part numbers and wiring diagram. PM me if interested and I'll start a search.

Actually this is on the 12v starting side, Like I said I believe this circuit is for the 12 V gauge on the remote panel

I do not know what you are looking for, perhaps the attached will help.
