We purchased a 1980 MC44 last Summer and have been getting things back into order. One area needing attention was the shelf in the engine room where something caused some damage over time and was later removed. The area has been repaired and re-purposed, but does anyone know what was there originally? Based on the footprint, I suspect it was a manual waste water pump for the aft head which is just behind the bulkhead. The tool box fits perfectly and is a needed addition.
