W-H Autopilots Inc. Seattle

I need to add a rudder indicator to the flybridge of my 49 DeFever RPH. The existing autopilot is a W-H Autopilots Inc. that’s been long discontinued. The system is a stand alone unit (not part of the autopilot). Does anyone know anything about this system and whether or not I should even mess with trying to find a second unit (or if I can even add one to the existing system) or should I just install a new multi display unit? If new, I’ll probably go with something that N2K compatible. Any recommendations?

Years ago I had Wil at W-H adapt a Robertson rudder angle indicator to work with my W-H autopilot. It plugs into the W-H processor box. I replaced the autopilot so the old one including the RAI is just sitting in a box. If you want the RAI I'll just put it in a box and mail it to you. PM me your address if interested.

I know it's a bit late to be joining this thread but my enquiry is about the W-H Autopilot. I am trying to find the manufacturer and part numbers for the 9 pin plugs used on this Autopilot. It is a very specific pin arrangement, not a simple equidistant circular arrangement....see attached pic.
I need both the male and female halves and joiner if possible.
Plugs like this are normally manufactured by third parties and are used by companies like W-H. Somebody, some company made these plugs, does anyone know?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

You might try Google image search. Kinda of hit-or-miss but sometimes works remarkably well.

I had a W-H autopilot and at one point figured out who made those connectors. I forget who it was but it just took a little detective work using the numbers on the connectors and some googling. As an alternative you can just cut the connector out and use a terminal strip
