Happy New Year to all, I'm looking to replace/ Rebed the starboard and port windows in 1983 Grandbanks any yards or carpenters recommendations would be appreciated. Also replacing the teak decks is looming so a good glass guy would be helpful. Thanks Captain Scott

On the " beautiful back river". They took an engine out the side of a friend's 43 Vike, never know it.

Hartge Yacht Yard in Galesville can do all that. In fact, they did replace one of our portholes for me last year... a project some previous owner should have done a long time ago. I think they can still build a boat from scratch, recently finished a refit on a Chesapeake Bay buy boat (Muriel Eileen/Georgetown, MD), et cetera...

It is not a small task. Rebedded 22'windows, replaced all fuzzies, polished stainless, epoxied frames mounted then Awlgripped.

I figured 24 man hours per frame, and cost just over $2k. Yards wanted $1k per frame.

It took twenty years off the boat. Used grand banks white, and they look molded in fiberglass.
