Trying to help a friend with a dual engine SYNC guage. Should be point to point but it doesn't make sense to land the "S" from both tachs on the same terminal, Same with landing both "I" on the same terminal.
Looking for suggestions please..

No one yet?
I don't know your system but I wonder if the S connections are used by both tachs so the Synch unit can see both and count and compare the two engines.
The Ign terminal

My best or worst guess.

Other wise contact Lauderdale guages who are meter specialists

OR contact the company you bought the setup from and ask them.

I believe there is another component to this system. The sync module takes the feed from the tachs and outputs to the sync gauge. Both gas and diesel versions. One I had in a previous boat was a black disk about 5" dia.

These are my gages, They are original to the boat. It makes no sense to me to land both S leads from the tachs to the same S terminal on the SYNC gage. Same with the I connections.
