I was just informed by my insurance company that I'll need a survey for my upcoming renewal.
Anyone know of a good surveyor on Long Island?

I know him pretty well, and I know he's an experienced and qualified surveyor, but he hasn't done a boat for me.

Be sure to clarify that you're looking for an insurance survey, not a pre-purchase survey. They are different and an insurance survey is usually cheaper. Plus the insurance survey isn't supercritical on issues to prevent you from getting denied.
