I'm taking my boat from Providence down to the Hudson and up in a few weeks and need some place to keep her for about a month..I'd like to try to find somewhere along the CT coast and curious if anyone had any suggestions as to a marina that might offer weekly/monthly rate. Many thanks!

I was in that area for about 20 years.... here's a couple suggestions.. I assume you were wanting a slip and not a mooring... this is the Mystic, CT area

One of the most beautiful places in New England... IMO

Oddly enough... I also lived in Chattanooga for about 3 years...

Also in Mystic is Gwenmor Marina. New docks, very strong and in a protected cove.
Downriver of the bridges.

There should be a lot of options. They don't really get into the full swing of launching boats until mid May - Memorial Day. Late April and the first week of may will have many open slips for short term stay.

I assume they'll charge you the off-season daily rate. I don't recall ever seeing a marina in New England that has weekly and monthly rates, but then again, I haven't been to every marina.

Also that doesn't mean they don't have it, just that I haven't seen it posted. I'd surely ask.

A couple good marinas that can accommodate large boats that I would recommend is Cedar Island in Clinton, CT and Steele Pointe in Bridgeport, CT. I can't speak to prices. Not sure exactly what you are looking for. There are lots of marinas in CT and Long Island. Do you intend to stay on the boat or just leave it there?

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, I really appreciate the help and advice!!

I will be leaving it there, not staying.

There are dozens, maybe a hundred marinas that can accommodate your boat on the Connecticut coast. Go to phttps://activecaptain.garmin.com and sign up (free) and then go to the map view. Look for where you want to be, close to transportation or whatever.

For access to T F Green airport, East Greenwich, Cowesett and Warwick are good choices.

Active Captain gives marina phone numbers and sometimes slip rates.

We’ve used Prime in East Greenwich. A very good yard.
If staying in Connecticut really like the town of Stonington. Especially if you won’t have a car.
