Recently added removable Phifertex sun shades to both sides of my FB - we put them up only on hot summer days when the sun is most intense. Looking for a way to store them when not in use - concerned that folding them, even gently, will cause creases. Thought about rolling them up into a plastic art tube but difficult to find something long enough (52") or with a large enough diameter (guessing 5"). Anyone have a similar issue with a clever solution?
Thx -
Jim

Use 8" PVC pipe with caps....

We make pillow cases out of terry cloth towels and roll up a piece of canvas that comes off the boat each time we use the boat. It is easier to store when empty than a PVC tube. May be a bit more difficult sliding the screen into than a pvc tube but will be easier and take less room to store than a pvc tube.

Our supplier that made the shades for us also made storage bags for them, from the same material. We roll the panels and store them in the bags.
