ST 35 Cummins QSB fresh water flush

FYI here’s a video of the engine freshwater flush mod on my ST35 using the Seaboard Marine T-piece…

I have been doing a fresh water flush for quite a while. I just this week upgraded my setup with the Seaboard Marine cap assembly for the Groco sea strainer.

Rather than a bucket, I connect the hose directly to the sea strainer. It provides plenty of flow for my QSB 5.9L

I added a quick deck connect to make it easier to flush without opening engine hatches. I flush as I am post-tripping the vessel each time I return to port. Easy.
